UrbanV and Future Flight Global to launch an integrated eVTOL network in Brazil
Rome, June 18, 2025 – UrbanV, a global leader in vertiport infrastructure, and Future Flight Global (FFG), a leading operator of electric aircraft, two pioneering companies in the Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) ecosystem, following the strategic partnership recently signed, announce a further market expansion: the development of an Advanced Air Mobility network starting in São Paulo (Brazil).
São Paulo: A naturally promising market
With over 400 helicopters and more than 200 heliports, São Paulo has the largest fleet of civil rotorcraft in the world and is therefore an excellent launchpad for eVTOL operations. The partnership leverages existing infrastructure to accelerate the deployment of scalable and sustainable urban and regional air mobility solutions.
The joint UrbanV and FFG network will connect the main urban and regional locations in São Paulo, including Faria Lima, Interlagos, Alphaville, and the main airports, and will explore options for future expansion to other metropolitan areas such as Rio de Janeiro.
FFG plans to deploy its mixed fleet, including Eve aircraft from Eve Air Mobility, in line with a Letter of Intent recently signed with the Embraer-backed eVTOL manufacturer. This progress demonstrates the shared vision of UrbanV and FFG, which aim to catalyze sustainable air mobility through innovation and infrastructure, laying the groundwork for the future of aviation in Brazil.
UrbanV is already active in Brazil thanks to its collaboration with Pax Aeroportos, which includes participation in the national regulatory sandbox initiatives. The Campo de Marte airport project, co-developed with Pax, is the first test bed for vertiports in Brazil and will serve as the central hub of the network under construction.
Carlo Tursi, CEO of UrbanV, said: "Brazil is one of the most interesting markets in the world for Advanced Air Mobility, and this partnership with FFG allows us to unlock its full potential. By combining our expertise in vertiport development with FFG's operational capabilities and fleet commitment, we aim to build a seamless, integrated vertiport network: we are building the future of mobility."
Karan Singh, CEO of Future Flight Global, added: "Brazil is already a global leader in vertical flight activity and is therefore well prepared for the next generation of electric aircraft, with the support of the public. We are proud to deepen our partnership with UrbanV and build on the foundations the company has laid to develop a solid and robust Advanced Air Mobility network, starting in São Paulo and then expanding to Rio de Janeiro and beyond."
