UrbanV and ICAD team up to bring AAM to Saudi Arabia and beyond
Rome, June 26, 2024 – UrbanV and ICAD Holding LTD are joining their distinctive capabilities in the development of vertiport operations and infrastructure in Saudi Arabia and beyond.
The collaboration is aimed at a vertiport operations project, from take-off and landing procedures to the integration of technological systems, all the way to defining a plan for the management of individual vertiports and vertiport networks in the Middle East.
Under the agreement, the collaboration between UrbanV and ICAD will explore common opportunities for the development of projects in the field of Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) and Urban Air Mobility (UAM) in the region.
UrbanV will leverage its expertise in planning, design, network analysis, business planning, route assessment, and interaction with regulatory authorities. In addition, UrbanV's extensive global network in the AAM sector will support the various stakeholders in the region, including public and private bodies.
ICAD will contribute with its extensive experience in various sectors such as construction, technology integration, and operations management, supporting UrbanV in the construction and management of vertiports. The collaboration takes the form of contracts covering both aeronautical and non-aeronautical aspects of vertiport operations and maintenance.
The collaboration aims to accelerate the development of AAM and UAM services in the Middle East, creating a robust infrastructure network that will facilitate the seamless integration of air mobility solutions into the region's transport ecosystem.
